The circuit training class is a combination of high-intensity aerobic and bodyweight exercise training designed to be easy to follow and target fat loss, muscle building and cardiovascular fitness.
The class uses bodyweight exercises and also gym equipment to make up the various circuits. No two sessions are the same so we can keep you and your body guessing.
The room will be set up so there are a number of different stations and participants will work at each station for a set amount of time before moving onto the next one. After the participants have completed all the exercises that is one circuit. You have a rest period and then begin the circuit again.
A typical short circuit that you could do in your home with no equipment would be:
1 minute of star jumps
1 minute of push ups
1 minute of crunches
1 minute of squats
1 minute of burpees
Rest for one minute and repeat x 2.
Therefore you can you have a quick workout in less than twenty minutes and really feel the difference.
